Figuring You Out - The Sketchbook Project 2011

I sent in to receive a sketchbook the other day so that I can participate in "The Sketchbook Project: 2011" from the Art House Co-op.

I chose the theme of "Figuring You Out."

The cool thing is that not only will my completed sketchbook tour with an art project around the U.S. and then end up in a permanent collection at the Brooklyn Art Library, but they will also digitize it and put the sketchbook online like a digital book.

I may try to illustrate several aspects of my most intriguing friends. Maybe while having coffee. 

Figuring people out is fun, and one of the best parts about getting to know people. But the subject may have a tough time competing with other themes such as "Revenge" and "Nightmares." UNLESS the people I am sketching have nightmares and revenge in their hearts...
